YOGA ETIQUETTE
 
For first time students, please arrive 15 minues prior to class time as you
    will need to fill out a brief registration form.
 
 
*  For continuing students, please arrive 5-10 minutes
   early.  While waiting you can practice a pose or just
   sit or lie quietly, breathe and get centered.
 
   
 
*  Yoga is practiced barefoot. Shoes go on the shoe rack outside the door
    and cell phones or pagers should be shut off at this time.
 
*  Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. 
      
*  It is best to do yoga on an empty stomach.     
   Try and eat at least 1-2 hours before class.  If you
   practice on a full stomach, you might experience
   cramps, nausea, or vomiting, especially in twists, deep
   forward bends and inversions.  Digesting food also takes
   energy and can make you lethargic.
 
*  Let you teacher know if you have any kind of limiting physical
    condition or an injury of any kind.
 
*  Refrain from wearing perfumes or colognes as this may distract or offend
   others.  Be aware that some people are allergic to these scents.
 
*  Yoga mats are available for new students use or if you forget yours.  If
    you use a studio mat, please wipe it clean with the cloths provided after
    use.
 
*  Come with an open mind and an open heart and enjoy the positive and
    healing effects of yoga!!!!
